» What you need to bring
• In order to get your mortgage, you will need to bring with you the following with you:
* Your last / most recent P60
* Three (3) wage slips
* A valid passport
* Spanish bank account (If you do not have one, we will be able to assist you in opening one).
• Having a mortgage or mortgages in the UK will not affect you in any way in acquiring a Spanish mortgage on a Spanish property, however - in Spain you may only have a mortgage on only one other property.

• The laws and information that you will need to take on are probably alot different to what you know from your country of origin.
It is important to:
• Do your research before purchasing a property, get a second opinion and definatley use a solicitor.
• View the laws on taxes and extra costs when selling and purchasing a property in Spain.
• And ask if you are not sure about anything what so ever, to avoid future problems.

» 70% mortgages on property in Spain
• People are always trying to find a bargain and get a good mortgage on property. And we receive may requests for properties that you can get a 100% mortgage on. Not anymore!
• Banks can arrange a mortgage for up to 70-80% of the property price. Banks are becoming more strict due to the amount of defaulted mortgages and property they are unable to sell to retrieve the desired money they need. It is possible but alot more difficult now.
