This traditional Spanish cortijo (farmhouse or country estate) dates to 1808 and was a family-owned working farm for many generations. It was extensively renovated four years ago and is now a single-family residence with 830 square meters of living space. The house has modern amenities like air-conditioning, Internet access and new kitchens and baths, but has retained historical details like stone floors, exposed brick, and wooden beams and posts.
Brick and plaster run throughout. The entry foyer — currently used as a sitting and dining area — has an original fireplace and built-in shelving. The kitchen has granite counter tops, a tile back splash, wooden cabinetry and an island. It is 24 square meters in size and adjoins the dining room, as well as a utility room with a washer/dryer.
